Frozen yogurt shop to open in Addison

1 225x300 Frozen yogurt shop to open in Addison

Yogurt Story is almost ready to open in Addison.

Yogurt Story is making its Dallas-Fort Worth debut in Addison with plans to open a shop within the next two weeks in the Addison Walk shopping center at Beltline and the Tollway.

Based in Denton where it has quite a following, Yogurt Story is modeled like a yogurt buffet where you can pretty much build your own cup with flavors and toppings of your choice. They’ve got some fun flavors, too, like New York Cheesecake, Honey Dew, Irish Mint, Red Velvet Cake and Green Tea Tart. Yum.

Oddly enough, there’s really not that much frozen yogurt competition in the restaurant district of Addison. Berry Berry has closed, and that just leaves neighborhood spots in Far North Dallas like Froyo Workshop at Arapaho and Hillcrest, Yogurt By Me near the Galleria and Tutti Frutti at Coit and Campbell.

Yogurt Story is great! Close to Addison Circle. 35 cents an ounce. Will be back.

My husband and I are Addison residents but make the drive to Preston and Royal for a treat at I Heart Yogurt. We love it!
