When it comes to accommodating sports fans, Sharky’s Bar & Grill is pretty hard to beat. The large, open sports bar has the NFL Ticket, and you can comfortably watch the Cowboys on one end and the Broncos on the other. With flat screen TVs lining the walls, plus two projector screens, there’s no shortage of game time here. “We can watch any game any time that it’s on,” owner Mike Utley says. Plus, Sharky’s offers free WiFi and outlets around the bar so you can follow your team online. The menu boasts popular items like the Sharky burger, Sharky’s original buffalo wings and nachos with homemade tortilla chips. Manager Randy Rubin is most proud of the Philly cheesesteak. He came up with the recipe after spending two weeks in Philadelphia, trying every sandwich from upscale restaurants to street vendors. If you’re at the bar, try Sharky’s signature shot, the Sucker Punch, which combines Stoli Blueberi Vodka, Red Bull, Sprite and cranberry juice. And be there when the Cowboys score their first touchdown because everyone in the house gets a free JELLO shot.
