The Fretz Park Recreation Center, which temporarily closed earlier this year, will be receiving some much-needed updates and renovations, beginning in May as part of the city bond package.

Warrior Group construction has taken on the $700,000 project with plans to remodel the interior and exterior of the building, including lighting updates, electrical system upgrades and architectural upgrades.

The project is scheduled to be competed by January 2012.
