Estates West held its neighborhood Bluebonnet Festival Sunday at Westwood Junior High, something that only happens once every two years, and a few folks from the Texas Reelers Square & Round Dance Club provided the entertainment. The dancers performed to several tunes, grabbing people from the audience to participate.
Made up of residents from Estates West and throughout Dallas and Richardson, the Texas Reelers has been around since 1975 and is one of the largest square dancing clubs in North Texas.
The group is open to individuals and couples of all ages and meets for dancing on the first and third Fridays of each month at the Richardson Senior Center.
