Pizza Inn Inc. has launched a new concept called Pie Five Pizza and is expanding with eight locations coming to Dallas-Forth Worth over the next nine months, including one in Far North Dallas.That’s according to this report from the Dallas Business Journal.

Pie Five is scheduled to open at Belt Line and the Tollway by December. The fast-casual concept is designed to be a little nicer than Pizza Inn while still serving up pies within five minutes. The set-up is similar to a Subway or Chipotle style of ordering.

The chain’s first location opened in on Seventh Street in Fort Worth. You also can expect to see spots off Central Expressway and Knox, in Las Colinas and several other areas of the Metroplex.
