More than 1,000 women joined together for the Woman-to-Woman Luncheon Monday, benefiting the Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas.
The featured speaker was Marlee Matlin, the Academy Award-winning actor and best-selling author who also happens to be deaf.
The biannual luncheon helps provides vital support for JSF mental-health and social services offered to those in need around our community.
JSF, which is based at Montfort and Arapaho across from Prestonwood Town Center, hosts job fairs, career workshops and other support groups for people trying to get back on their feet. It also runs a food pantry, which can always use donations. Go here to learn how to get involved.
