The shopping center at the northeast corner of Prestonwood and Belt Line has now become a pile of rumble as it undergoes a major redevelopment that will yield an 11-screen LOOK Cinemas movie theater and two new restaurants — Nick & Sam’s Grill and Coal Vines.
Old tenants such as Prestonwood Eye Care, AAA and a travel agency have been moved to new storefronts next door. The Studio Movie Grill, which closed in 2010, also has been razed.
The new center is scheduled to be up and running by the end of 2012.
