It appears the new Starbucks at Coit and Belt Line is open for business, as evidenced by the packed parking lot and the giant, inflatable Frappucino on the patio out front. The old location across the street in Dal Rich Village is now vacant.
The Chipotle next door is still coming along but looks close to opening by early August.
Sylvia’s Mexican Restaurant in Spring Creek Village at the northwest corner is closed, and “for lease” signs have returned to the now yellow-painted building. It seems that business never quite picked up for the restaurant, which for the longest time, didn’t even have a sign up. The space previously was occupied by another Mexican restaurant, Rio Azul.
