Vitruvian Park in Addison hosts a free Game Nite 7-9 p.m. Friday. Board, card and lawn games are provided along with snacks. Guests are welcome to bring their own games and a picnic. Everyone meets under the big oak tree at the overlook near Ponte Bridge.
The Fretz Park Library presents a street art-inspired event, “Taking it to the Streets” , at 11 a.m. Saturday in the auditorium. Admission is free, and anyone ages 7 and up is welcome. The event is an opportunity for kids to explore their skills street art designs.
The Addison 2012 Summer Series launches July Jazz at 8 p.m. every Saturday this month in Beckhart Park. Admission is free, and you can bring your own food and drinks. This week, the Frisco School of Music Jazz Combo will perform.
