If you like art and are looking for a different kind of exhibit, stop by the opening reception of the 18th annual Goblet Invitational at the Kittrell/ Riffkind Art Glass this Friday. You’ll see vessels from more than 80 contemporary glass artists. From 5 – 8:30 p.m. the gallery will host a wine and cheese tasting for their visitors. The goblets will remain on display until Aug. 11.
The Richardson Community Band is performing an American salute at 7 p.m. this Sunday. For no admission fee, you can to sit on the Richardson Civic Center lawn and enjoy eight patriotic songs. If you can’t make it this weekend, there are two more concerts on the lawn this summer on July 19 and Aug. 12.
Comedian Cory Holcomb performs stand-up all weekend long at the Addison Improv. Admission is $20.
