Cat mutilations not the work of humans, police say

Several days ago, at least two Far North Dallas residents – one in Highlands North and one in Northwood Hills – came home to mutilated cats strewed across their front yards. Maria Clohessy says she found one Sunday night.

“It had been mutilated and disemboweled,” she says.
